Well, technically 48 minutes and 5 seconds, but who’s counting?
This is Spiritualized live at the Portsmouth Pyramid from sometime in 2001 as part of the Let it Come Down tour. It’s one big chunk of music–just one 44MB MP3.

Set list is a bit different from other shows I’ve heard as Jason starts off with an “abbreviated” 14-minute version of Cop Shoot Cop, a typical show closer. From there it’s possibly the best live version of Let it Flow, a rare performance of Out of Sight (I don’t think it was played much outside of this tour, for shame), No God Only Religion, Take Me to the Other Side (Yes!), and Come Together. The recording ends there, so I’m not sure what else was in the show.
If you have shows that you’re willing to part with, send me an e-mail…I’d love to get as many as I can. Will trade the blood of your enemies, first-born children for quality bootlegs.

Sounds great. I saw them the same year in Rochester, Ny. The show was great, with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club opening.
Doesn’t get much better than that.

i saw them at manchester academy on the same tour and they were mindblowing. i was with my girlfriend and we were near the stage. the volume and lightshow was intense, so much that grown men were being carried out (drugs and alcohol may have played their part too!). the old lady’s a bit of a lightweight but she lasted until near the end! when her wits were leaving her, she simply turned and cut a path straight through the crowd. it was like moses parting the waves!!!!
this mp3 is great. anyone reading this, download it now.

That version of Take me to the other side is stellar.

I specifically remember almost blacking out standing during Take me to the Other Side on this tour… and I loved every minute of it. Strange thing — I was alarmingly sober. Glad you all enjoy it!

Attention – EZ Archive sucks. If you are having trouble downloading, you aren’t alone. Even I can’t download it. Try at different times, the server apparently gets hit pretty hard at peak hours (basically 10am – 8pm US time). Keep tryin!

I’ll try later then..I’ve tried a few times now and can only get about 34+minutes of it downloaded before it drops..Sounds good though..from what I have heard

I get prompted for a password. What’s up with that?

EZ Archive is transferring everything over and we’re all a bit confused. Hopefully by the end of the weekend?

I keep streaming this set and the Shine A Light from Hype Machine but I’d really like an mp3. Have you considered Yousendit?

Any chance you could just email me an mp3 of the show? anechas@pubint.com

Wow – this is so far superior to that awful live at Royal Albert Hall thing it’s criminal. That’s the best “Take Me To The Other Side” I’ve ever heard outside of live at the El Rey in LA in (1999?)

How are you downloading it? Every time I try I get asked for a password? Also, in my opinion, best possible version of Let It Flow.

Spiritualized are amazing live – saw them at Route du Rock in France in about 1999 I think. Has got to be the best live concert I have ever seen and I didn’t even know who they where at the time. Fantastic music and recommended to anyone !!
